How it works
  1. Pick a preset or build rules manually: each group targets one bot (use * for all bots) and holds Allow / Disallow path rules.
  2. Add your sitemap URL so crawlers can find every page quickly.
  3. Copy or download the file, then upload it as robots.txt to the root of your website (e.g. example.com/robots.txt).
  • Rules are order-sensitive inside a group: crawlers use the most specific matching rule first.
  • An empty Disallow line means "allow everything" — that is how the "Allow all" preset works.
  • robots.txt is a public hint, not security: it does not stop determined scrapers or hide private pages.
