Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What does the JSON Schema validator do?
Paste your JSON data and a JSON Schema. The validator checks whether the data conforms and reports every mismatch it finds.
What is the show all errors option?
By default validation may stop at the first problem. Enabling all errors lists every violation at once, which speeds up debugging.
Why validate against a schema?
Schemas catch malformed payloads before they break your code — wrong types, missing required fields and unexpected values all surface immediately.
Is my JSON data private?
Yes. Validation runs entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your device.
Is the JSON Schema validator free?
Yes. It is free to use with no signup and no limits.
