Tool Interface
Edit PDF
Change the text in a PDF right in your browser. Edits use a standard font, so new text may not match the original font exactly, and lines do not reflow. Your file never leaves your device.
PDF files only — processed locally in your browser.
Click any text line to edit it. Click Add text, then click anywhere on the page to place new text. Empty text deletes that line.

- Download the edited PDF. The original file is untouched.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it really edit the PDF text?
Yes. The edited PDF shows your new text where the old text was, and the file downloads as a normal PDF you can open anywhere.
Will the new text match the original font?
Not exactly. Replacement text uses a standard font, so it may look slightly different from the original. Lines do not reflow: longer replacement text extends past the old line instead of wrapping.
Is the old text completely removed from the file?
No. Edits cover the old text visually, but the original wording stays in the file data underneath. Do not use this tool to remove sensitive information. For true removal, use the redact tool.
Can it edit scanned PDFs?
No. Scanned pages are images with no text to edit. Extract the text first with the OCR tool, then work from the extracted text.
Is there a page or size limit?
No fixed limit. Very large PDFs may be slow because all processing happens in your browser.
